Meet Ryan Crisp (@fulledbycrisps), an unrelenting, unpredictable, thrilling Mtb and Enduro rider. His drive has seen him showcase some of the most exciting and entertaining skills to date.
He also doesn’t like crisps! Find out what fuels the man behind the bars.
What inspired you to start cycling?
From a very young age, I was surrounded by moto bikes, Especially moto trials bikes. I liked the look but wanted to do it on my BMX. Which I did until my parents brought me a trials bike, which led to me riding all over the world for 15 years.
A quote that inspires you and keeps you motivated?
That’s a hard one! I don’t have a quote but what keeps me motivated is I know the faster & fitter I am the more I enjoy the sport.
What are your cycling goals for 2022?
Get back into racing enduros and hopefully back on the podium.
What excites you about becoming a Cycle Revolution Ambassador?
Never have I had support from a local shop. I’m looking forward to working closely with like-minded people.
What’s your favourite MTB trick?
Got to be a manual, Can do them anywhere and always looks cool.
How would define your riding style?
Reckless haha. Even I don’t know what I’m going to do next!
Do you have any advice for people who want to pursue the sport?
Don’t rush yourself into anything. Specially progressing out on the trails, I see too many people pushing jumps they aren’t ready for. Also please always pedal up it’ll help you in the long run, I promise.– Ryan crisp
What’s your earliest memory of mountain biking?
I’d say it’s got to be me riding around the garden thousands of times on my Fire engine bike.
Anddddd whats your favourite flavour packet of crisps?
I may be fuelled by crisps but you rarely see me eating them, I’m actually more of a biscuit guy. But I’d say salt and vinegar.
