The Specialized Levo range delivers the unbelievable power to ride more trails through an unequaled combination of ride quality, usable power, and ride anywhere range. It’s the distillation, application, and amplification of a 40-year obsession with creating the world’s best riding mountain bikes. Since its introduction, Levo has set the bar every other e-MTB aims for, and the Generation 3 Levos raises that bar again.
The Levo carbon range can be broken down into 3 tiers: S-Works, Expert and Pro.
Levo Pro
Levo Expert
S-Works Levo
They all come equipped with the Specialized Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor and MasterMind Turbo Control Unit (TCU). They both provide the Specialized Levo with a smooth and seamless amplification of your efforts. In short, 4x you power. That lets you choose where to ride, and when you want to do it.
The Specialized Levo range also shatters limitations when it comes to range, amplifying your effort for up to five hours of trail time, that is 700wh of battery. Now you can ride further, explore more than ever before. And the optimised chassis boasts 150mm of custom-tuned rear suspension and adjustable geometry that delivers a stable and natural ride like no other. Because at the end of the day, it’s the ride that matters. Let’s explore some of the features the Levo range offers in more detail.
Motor & Display
The Specialized Levo’s fully integrated Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor and 700Wh battery deliver category-leading 90 Nm of torque and 565 watts of power for up to five hours of ride time, empowering you to ride farther and faster than ever before. The MasterMind Turbo Control Unit is your information hub with customisable display fields, including the exact percentage of battery level, and it features our all-new MicroTune function to adjust power delivery in 10% increments, so you get exactly the support you need to experience precisely the ride you want.
Geometry
The Specialized Levo offers six distinct geometry settings, allowing you to easily dial-in its performance for any riding style and any terrain. The adjustable headset lets you change the head-tube angle between 63- and 65.5-degrees. The Horst pivot flip chips helps fine-tune the bottom bracket height up or down by 7mm while also slackening the head-tube angle by approximately 0.5 degrees.
Specialized S-Sizing
The Specialized Levo used Specialized’s S-Sizing. This is based on what matters: rider size and style, not inseam. Six sizes, all with similar head-tube lengths and standover, allow you to choose the size that best suits your individual style. Smaller S-Size numbers are going to be nimble and more flickable, while bigger S-Sizes deliver more stability and a roomier ride.
Mullets are Back in Style
The Specialized Levo comes with a dedicated mixed-wheel size design with a 27.5” wheel in the back and 29” up front delivers a nimble ride that carves circles around other full-power e-MTBs. A generous cockpit centres you on the bike, optimising traction and corner control. The low bottom bracket, slack head-tube angle and reduced fork offset keep things stable in the rough.
Rider’s Final View
The Turbo Levo’s powerful motor offers a smooth, enjoyable ride, matching the performance of the Bosch Performance Line CX drive system on climbs while being quieter than both Bosch and Shimano motors on descents. It is easy to control, feeling more natural than the Giant SyncDrive Pro2, making it suitable for beginners and providing strong climbing capabilities with excellent traction.
In true Specialized fashion, the Turbo Levo immediately puts you at ease. The bike’s excellent freedom of movement and central riding position boost confidence, encouraging even beginners to tackle challenging lines with its predictable and intuitive handling. The weight is evenly distributed between the front and rear, ensuring equal traction on both wheels and maintaining stability on tough terrain, keeping you in control.
