Thomas's Cycle Revolution have been selling and servicing bicycles since 1981. We now have four stores in the region, including the Specialized Concept Store in Chelmsford, Cycle Revolution (for our more comprehensive service offerings) in Ipswich and Colchester and our high end store, Cycle Evolution also in Colchester.

As a family store we are proud of our reputation, and are proud to be the area's first choice when it comes to quality cycling products. We have the experience, brands and the enthusiasm to offer all of our customers excellent service and value.

In addition to stocking all the best bike brands, including Giant, Liv, Specialized, Trek, Cube, Focus, Cervelo, Whyte and HaiBike, we also offer a full workshop, Body Geometry Bike Fit, custom build, and a regular calendar of free rides in the area.

Our workshop technicians are Cytech qualified and equipped to service any make and model of cycle, using only quality replacement components. We are able to fully customise your new cycle to suit your requirements, build custom wheels and bikes to order and tune all hydraulic brakes and suspension systems in house.

Cycle Revolution is very much at the heart of the cycling community in East Anglia. We support many of the areas cycling clubs, charities, racing events and sponsor Velo Club Revolution which is well worth joining for new and experienced riders.

Cycle Revolution Returns Policy

RETURNS

If order(s) is broken or spoiled when it is delivered then you should notify us as soon as possible or in any case within 7 days of delivery, otherwise the returns policy becomes invalid. You can notify us by email support@cycle-revolution.net. All refunds under this returns policy will be paid within 30 days of us receiving the returned goods. Any items being returned must be in their original packaging to prevent any further damage. Please include proof of purchase. Only the original purchasor has the right to return faulty goods.

Due to the high incidence of fraud we regret that we are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt.

Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit and debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original purchase.

Due to banking restrictions cheque payments can only be refunded at least 14 days after the original purchase date.

Returning your purchase by post

To return your purchase by post complete the returns form overleaf stating whether you would like a refund, exchange or have a warranty issue. Please provide us with details of why you wish to return your purchase as your input is invaluable to us when reviewing the products we stock. It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty cards, manuals and accessories).

Send your goods securely packaged by a recorded delivery method, including a copy of your receipt and this returns form to:

Returning bicycles and bulky objects 
If you wish to return bulky objects such as a bicycle, fork or turbo trainer, please call the Returns Department on 01206 764545 or email 
support@cycle-revolution.net to arrange a special courier collection.

Depending on the reasons for returning an item a charge may be incurred for this service.

Returning your purchase to a store Potential warranty returns 
On receipt of your goods, if you feel they are faulty, please call our Returns department on 01206 764545 to obtain a warranty returns number. If you do not have a returns number this will delay the warranty inspection and possible warranty claim on your goods. Fair wear and tear or misuse is not considered a fault and Thomas Cycle Revolution would not be liable in these cases.

On receipt of your goods we will carry out a warranty inspection and will contact you within 3 working days of receipt. If your purchase is outside our 28 day returns period but within the manufacturers warranty period we will repair or replace the item(s) as stated in the manufacturers warranty guidelines.

In some cases the manufacturer/ supplier may require to see the item(s) before repair or replacement can take place. If this is the case we will inform you. Proof of purchase is also required with all potential warranty claims. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights, full details of which can be obtained from any Trading Standards Department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau. We also offer the option of returning your mail order purchase to a Cycle Revolution store. Simply take your purchase and original receipt into your local store. Staff will issue a refund on the spot, or you can browse our store and exchange your purchase for an alternative product. As with postal returns, store returns must be made within 28 days, refunds will be processed using the original payment method, and the goods must be returned in original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.

CANCELLATIONS

You can cancel / return an order at any time up to 14 days from the date of delivery as long as the items remain intact by contacting us via email the store you purchased from. We are sorry but you will have to cover the cost of returning the cancelled item. Goods are returned unused (and not having been fitted to a bike etc) and in as-sold condition in original packaging.

Items need to be in the original packaging and then wrapped or boxed up for transport. Please do not directly stick labels or write on the item or the item's original packaging.  Please include your proof of purchase.

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of face masks, or cycling underwear whereby the item has been removed from its packaging.
