18th June 08: National Bike Week
"Try a Bike Day" @ BT Martlesham
This was our fourth year in visiting the site during National Bike Week
Over this period we have seen greater interest by the site employees and its now turned out to be a large show attended by other local shops within our area.
Due to our years of experience at this show we offered a greater range of focused products and was always on hand to discuss options open to the site employees.
We also lead the way in “Try a Bike” with many taking the chance of riding all types of commuting products.
Once again the show was seen as a good success resulting in continued support and sales for the future.

17th June 08: National Bike week
Cycle Presentation @ Essex University
Since Our general support of the “Cycle To Work” scheme we have made many inroads in reacting out to large employers.
Essex University took us on the approach of us offering a large cycle display/support to promote their “cycle to work scheme” that was launched to their campus employees.
Once again we offered a wide range of practical commuting options which also covered electric bikes which stole the show and were many people’s favourite.
The day was deemed to be a great success by all and the University was very impressed with our display and commitment that was on offer,
Since the show we have seen a good take up on the “Cycle Scheme” by their employees and interest continues to grow as a result of the town’s congestion and rising fuel prizes.

17Th June 08: “National Bike week”
Cycle Presentation Ipswich Borough Council
This presentation was held outside the new Ipswich Borough Council Buildings “Graffon Hose” in Ipswich.
We were asked to offer a display of cycling products to there employees which they could purchase on there “Cycle Scheme” promotion. The display was also in conjunction with the “National Bike Week” to encourage more employees to cycle to work and use there bicycle more often.
The shop was a great success with many willing employees trying the cycles that we had on offer.
We also handed out offer vouchers as further encouragement in support of the scheme and of the week
Due to the location we also had many employees from the Suffolk County Council offices that visited our display, which boasted more sales and interest.
We would like to thank all that came along and look forward in visiting next year.

15th June 08: Ride For Life
Rendlesham Forest Charity Ride
This was our first year in offering support for this worth while cause.
Due to the close location of both associations ie “Foxhall road, Ipswich” we were only too pleased to offer support during this event.
Pervious to the big day we handed out leaflets to promote this event which was held on Fathers Day.
We couldn’t of asked for better weather and was surprised by the large field of sponsored riders that came to support the day
Numbers were up by over 20% and with more to do and to see it was a great day for all.
We offered free cycle checks on all bikes before the ride with many requiring minor adjustments.
I would like to commend the commitment and support shown and look forward in seeing you their next year.
